Just so we're up to date, my favorite person in the whole world, Glenn Beck, has been drawing some self-inflationary comparisons between himself and Martin Luther King Jr., in an attempt, I can only imagine, to pretend he is not a racist SOB, and an attempt to continue the grand tradition of crazy-ass super-conservatives conflating the Tea Party movement with a number of noble, history-making, beautiful examples of human spirit. Glenn also has the arrogance to be holding a giant rally at the Lincoln Memorial in two days--the 47th anniversary of the "I have a dream" speech.
Gleaned (thank you) from this site is a step-by-step guide to why Martin Luther King Jr. rocks, and Glenn Beck is an all-too-wealthy lunatic frat boy who wouldn't know civil rights if they shoved a screwdriver in his ear.

Unfortunately, Glenn Beck will not change until his ratings change for the worse because it IS all about the money. So let's ignore him and then use his numbers to focus on how many Americans are NOT listening to him.
ReplyDeleteThe bad thing is that there seems to be a market for hate. I'm afraid that the right wing nuts are not going to be happy until we see American blood flowing in the streets of American city's. These guys are hell bent on slandering everything that is good and decent in America. They do not want to help minorities,they do not want to help the sick and they do not want to help anyone who is not from here. Heck they even want to make it so that if you are born here you need to prove you belong here. I have a really bad feeling on how his little get together is going to turn out. I can see a full pledged riot breaking out.

It is like being managed by the English when they ate like pigs and ignored their stinch and the lice in their body. Civilization has ended and we have entered a dark ages period. Antiintellectualism, pure hatred of humanity, Being attacked by new illnesses and no cure, mortality dropping, ignorance amok, no morality (whatever that means) i mean civility mistrust of the government which is the problem. Apathy fear lazyness sense of powerlessness. Paralyzed by missinformation. Everybody is an expert and a crook. Parents have no ability to parent and children are being raised like animals in a trough. Excess of wealth but lack of compassion. Social crumbling psychopathic behavior everywhere and psychosocial and antisocial behaviors ,murdering parents. The Lord of the flies is near.
