More women than men discuss sexism, and it is not because we find the topic more fun, entertaining, or enjoyable than men. It is because sexism gets in the way of our freedom. I blog about sexism in geek culture not because it’s my passion, but because it gets in the way of my passions. My struggle against my marginalization is not my hobby.I'm glad to see this issue being batted around with increasing frequency. Sometimes it feels like we're in a post-90s backlash of sexism in certain realms.

Another brilliant Republican idea: have all miscarriages investigated under the suspicion they may be prenatal murders. This is probably the most rational, compassionate, wonderful idea I've ever heard, second only to the idea that we should strip women of their vocal chords and ship them off to large forced-birthing facilities.
On the upside, facebook and Hawai'i both add civil unions.
OMG! The miscarriage guy is a complete LUNATIC!!! WOW! I am completely flabbergasted by the idea. Also mentioned in that article - his proposal to swap victim for accuser when it comes to rape, etc.? That guy seriously needs to become some sort of... accuser. Geez!
